Here are a few highlights from birding yesterday in Snohomish & Skagit counties.
Gyrfalcon - 0
Merlin -2: - a female taiga along Bradshaw Road in Skagit & a male taiga along Thomle Rd in Snohomish
Northern Shrike - 3 - Bradshaw Road and Dry Slough Rd & Hayton Reserve on Fir Island
Tree Swallow - 6-8 at the Game Range (Wylie Slough) in Skagit
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - singing at the Game Range
Also, a Long-tailed Weasel ran across Pioneer Hwy as I was driving at the north edge of Stanwood.
It was a good day.
