Happy spring,

I have an upcoming trip to New Orleans next week where I would like to squeeze in one day birding. I saw City Park but am hoping for something a little more quiet and remote

My wish list would be the following:

1. A park with walking trails within 1 hour of the city center
2. Preferably where there are big old trees with moss and water. Boardwalks would be nice as the weather looks to be a bit wet next week.
3. A park or reserve with scenery as well as birds (I will have my parents with me who are not birders)

Please reply offline to me directly, I appreciate any advice!

Cheers and happy birding,
Amy Powell
