Good morning, Early Birds, (7:30 am -; not that early I guess…)

I'm hearing and seeing a Red-breasted Sapsucker again on the telephone pole across the street. Yesterday he worked there for nearly an hour! It's right at the top, so not sure what he's thinking, but could it possibly be thinking of nesting there or is he just finding something to eat?

Unlike those Northern Flickers, this bird is much less skittish and can doesn't fly immediately if you try to take a photo. He's at the top of the pole and can see right from living room window. The bird is a nicer view than the pole!
