A couple of hours of birding at M Street near Emerald Downs in Auburn and Frager/204th in Kent were worthwhile.

M Street
Least Sandpiper - 3
Long-billed Dowitcher - 1 became 3 then 8 on main pond
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Blue-winged Teal - 1 male
Cackling Goose - 6 minima
Calif. Scrub-Jay - 1

Frager/204th
Tree Swallow - all swallows over the Green River
VG Swallow
Cliff Swallow
Barn Swallow
NRW Swallow
Bank Swallow - 3 flying in formation
Red-tailed Hawk - in flite carrying a snake
Bullock's Oriole - 3 ; 2 males & 1 female near the horses; 1 male very vocal

Yellow-headed Blackbird - also near horses

I believe that orioles nested last year opposite the river from the 2 fenced in ponds Good reason to suspect same this year.
