This is being written from Niagara Falls, Ontario on a short break from birding.  I have missed birding in Washington in May but the trip has been a blast and very successful.  So far I have birded in 10 states and have accomplished my goal of finding 50 species on a single day in each one.  Better yet has been the super people I have birded with and met at some of birding's truly magical places.  As I said -- a blast!!  I leave tomorrow for birding in Vermont and then New Hampshire.  Fly home via Nevada for a day of birding there and back to Washington on the 28th - a full month on the road.
The 227 species seen includes 31 warblers, 2 ABA Life Birds (Kirtland's Warbler and Henslow's Sparrow) plus 3 additional ABA Life Photos (Black Billed Cuckoo and Blackburnian and Connecticut Warblers) bringing me to 701 ABA species photographed.  There have been many great photo ops so it was hard to choose, but this Flickr Album contains 10 of my best/favorites.  Many blog posts later, but there simply has not been time on the road.
