Hi all,

Those who've birded along Hidden Valley Rd. in Kittitas county might be familiar with where it intersects with Emerick Rd. I was wondering if anyone out in Tweetersland knows the official status of Emerick Rd.; specifically, is it a private road? I ask because we were recently pulled off on the side of this road to do some birding. A local resident driving by stopped to ask what we were doing and mentioned that it was a private road. (We were just a few yards passed its intersection with Hidden Valley Rd.)

We've birded there for years and have never had anyone question our presence.
This is not a complaint, but we do wish to know for sure if we were trespassing.
