Hello, all,

This is just to say the Lesser Black-backed Gull was putting on a good show today mid-day at the mouth of the Cedar River in Renton, King County. I was one of several birders who got to see it, as well as seven other gull species, plus hybrids. One I thought a candidate for Glaucous-winged x Herring.

Mid-afternoon, I checked various vantages around the east and south sides of Lake Union (Seattle), but did not find an egret.
