Subject: [Tweeters] The birding action our on the Skagit/Samish Flats

Hello Tweeters,

This time of year it's hard to escape the allure of the
Skagit River delta-Fir Island-and places farther north up by Edison. We
have been up in that area twice in 2 weeks. I have already put some of
these pictures on Facebook, but for those who don't go there, I thought I
would put some of the birds flying around in this area in an album.

Birds include Trumpeter Swans, Snow Geese (actually mostly sitting in
Padilla Bay), Dunlin murmurations, Short-eared Owls, and Harriers. We
haven't found the Gyrfalcon yet.
