Hi Tweets,

Today while conducting a COASST survey of our beach at Griffiths Priday
State Park, Terry Risdon and I found a MOUNTAIN PLOVER working the upper
beach. Time was approximately 1:50 pm and bird was still present when we
left it about an hour later. Posted a pic to the ABA RBA Facebook page.
Signal too flaky to post elsewhere until now. More photos are posted here:
https://ebird.org/checklist/S61858620.

Best approach is to park at end of Heath road, then cross over the Connor
Creek foot bridge on foot and walk north for 1 to 1.5 miles. You'll pass
the line of Copalis Spit signs on the beach along the way. Keep going. Bird
was between where the vegetation starts to disappear and the mouth of
Connor creek working the high beach areas.

Hope it sticks!
