A Snowy Egret has returned to what seems to be the most reliable area in Washington, the Vancouver lowlands. Today a sub-adult turned up in the wetland just north of the dike separating Shillapoo Wildlife Area from private holdings where SR 501 hits a dead-end gate. Third year in a row there but twice that long when including areas of Ridgefield NWR about a mile north, thinking back to when SR-501 could be driven north to the southern boundary at Post Office Lake.Randy HillRidgefield WA Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
