I and others heard a parrot on Foster Island this morning. I never could find it in the foliage but it sounded like the ibird recording of a Thick-billed Parrot. I assume it must have escaped from a cage and someone is looking for it.

Last hear about 30 minutes ago on the north end of the island.

I hope it finds safety before the rains hit.
