Hi all,

On Monday I found a Green-tailed Towhee in east Vancouver, WA. It was
moving around between blackberry and hawthorn bushes roughly .1 miles west
of the intersection of NE 147th Ave and NE 59th St. (Two blocks south of
Fourth Plain). Other birders were able to see it as well that morning, but
in the afternoon could not be relocated.

This morning I was surprised to find the towhee was still there. It was
using the same bushes as Monday, sometimes close to the sidewalk, other
times farther back in blackberries. It was spending most of its time in a
mixed flock of sparrows (mostly Golden-crowned).

Photos of the bird can be found in my eBird checklist from Monday here:

Good birding,
