Hello all,

The LeConte's Sparrow found on the 12th by Susan Painter was refound
today and seen by many at McNary NWR HQ - along the paved trail just
before the ponds are on both sides of the trail. Sue Parrish first
spotted it in the weeds to the south then an hour later she again
spotted it in the rose by the south pond where it was originally
photographed. Seen and photographed by many - amazing bird for sure.
Very happy it stuck around as we were out of town until today. As far as
I know the bird never vocalized.

Was not on our list of "possibles" in WWCo! Thank you Susan!

Happy vagrant hunting, MerryLynn
