Hello tweets,

I know a Glaucous-winged Gull doesn't register as cosmic on anyone's radar, but I was surprised to see a first-year bird trying to get some food scrap out of a plastic bag that someone had thrown away along the road right in Vantage, Kittitas Co., WA, yesterday (2 September 2019), along with a first-year Ring-billed Gull. It was the first Glaucous-winged I have ever seen in that county. Both gulls were photographed together to support the identification.
