At Hayton Reserve on Fir Island.
At about 7PM last night, on the incoming tide, a flock of 32 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS flew into Hayton. With them were 2 RED KNOTS. A bit later, a FRANKLIN'S GULL flew in as well. The gull stayed for about 20-30 minutes, then flew off with other gulls. The plovers & knots remained longer, perhaps an hour or so, leaving together.
