Hi all,
The state appears to be doing a pilot project in which they are using Owls in traffic enforcement--as this shot, taken near Hansville WA, suggests:

(If you can't get to the link, don't worry, categorize it as "attempted humor.")
Also find shots of a seasick Black-footed Albatross (no that was the photographer), Stilt Sandpiper, Caspian Tern, Snowy Plover, Baird's Sandpiper and a Yellow Warbler in the four stages of taking a bath in Butyl Creek (today.)
Also a rare shot of me doing a "Yearbird Dance."
Admit it, we all do yearbird dances, don't we? Oh.
And a shot of the indomitable, courageous and deeply bird-loving Brian Pendleton in Yakima.
Best wishes
