The Washington Ornithological Society starts it's fall meetings on Monday October 7 with Christian Hagenlocher presenting on his Epic Big Year.   In 2016 Christian became the youngest birder to break 700 during an ABA Big Year. His adventure took him to 49 states, and brought him face to face with bears, snakes, and, of course,  lots of birds. Along the way, he interviewed hundreds of birders from across the country, and began "The Birding Project".
WOS meetings are held the first Monday of the month, Oct-June, at The Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41St, Seattle 98105.
Social begins at 7:00PM, Meeting begins at 7:30PM.  Meetings are open to the public. Members can attend remotely via GoToMeeting. (go to WOS.org for membership info)
