Monday the Monroe Wagner Vaux's Swift communal migratory roost had a dozen feathered guests. Last night it was empty.
Selleck was pushing 3,000, JBLM 10,000, and the new roost we opened up this spring in Rainier, OR 7,000. A lot of these might be individuals that normally would have spent the night in Monroe.

Blame it on the Merlins.
