Yesterday about 3:30pm at my home just west of Mill Creek, WA a sound like
children laughing caught my attention. I paused and listened. And then,
recognized the sound as many snow geese flying high overhead heading south.
It lasted for more than 2 minutes. Although I could not see them through
the trees, they gave me notice of their passing and the change in seasons.
I am now on alert as I know more will pass overhead in the days ahead.
