This afternoon (9/26) - and as late as 6:40 PM - we had a pair of nice
"speckle-bellied" Greater White-fronted Geese feeding with the resident
Canada Geese on the lawn at Treasure Island Park, Twin Lakes, Federal Way.
Somebody turned their dog loose on them though, which prompted most of the
geese to seek refuge on the lake. In addition, we have had a single
Cackling Goose, likely a -minima- hanging our with their larger cousins for
several days now. This possibly maybe the same individual, which spent last
winter at this location. Also at Lake Lorene, there have been up to three
Green Herons lately.

Good Birding!

Hans
