This past Thursday morning, I noticed a dead bird on the sidewalk right outside my front door. It looks somewhat like a song sparrow, but the streaking on the breast does not come together into a dark spot. It's 5 ½ inches long (from tip of beak to end of tail), and around 24 grams.
