Was nearing the end of my morning walk today & saw a Common Loon not too far off the shore of Kirkland's Marina Park. A few minutes later I was walking on the pier near Anthony's & one (same one?) popped up right next to me! Not sure who was more startled; he immediately dove back down (& hid under the pier?)
