The yard is quite active today with new songs and increases in sparrows. Fox sparrows are back in my habitat micro-niche with 3 this morning after being absent most of the winter. Song sparrow numbers are up with 4-5. Golden crowned Sparrows are up to 5 from the usual2. Goldfinch have been absent for a couple of weeks. Swallows back I'm small numbers up from 1 last week to 3 yesterday.

The bewicks wren is feeding its hatchlings often in the kitchen vent. Juncos are nesting somewhere in the vicinity.

It was a treat to hear songs and calls this morning. While usually light in traffic on a Sunday morning, even more so since isolation in effect. The birdsong and perhaps woodland creatures are getting a break from the humans during this time.
