Subject: [Tweeters] New Feeders Are Up

Hi Tweeters,

Big thanks to everyone who gave me feeder advice last week. I ended up purchasing a suet feeder and a small hummingbird feeder. I went with the spicy suet as someone suggested, though I haven't seen a lot of squirrels around the new place yet, but this is Seattle so I'm sure there are rats.

Anyway, had my first real day of working from home with the feeders out and what a nice day it was! A black-capped chickadee in the morning. Then later in the afternoon a Junco, a bewick's wren and finally two bushtit, though they were a fly by while my wife and I were in the yard.

Also with our close proximity to Green Lake I've had some flyovers in the past few days worth mentioning. A juvenile bald eagle, an osprey, and a few mallards. I've also seen a Cooper's hawk across the street, which makes me think it's just matter of time until I see it over this way as well.

Anyway, I'm a lister at heart, but I'm finding feeder watching to be very enjoyable as well...of course it helps that it's a new list I can keep. Happy birding everyone!
