I once found a penny in the bird feeding tray. I assumed that it was a tip for good service and promptly serving breakfast each morning at 7 am.

Subject: [Tweeters] A gift from the Easter Bunny or from a crow?

Has anyone had any experience with crows bringing them gifts? Several years ago, there was a child in Seattle who received countless gifts from crows, but I've never heard what happened to her and the crows.

I have a pair, and sometimes a trio of crows who have been coming to my yard for 4 or 5 years regularly whenever they notice me in the yard. I give them peanuts and one of them has recently become quite bold and comes close. Today I found a brand new key with a decorative end in my yard in a place where it is highly unlikely that someone would have left it. I suppose there are several explanations, but someone would have had to walk down my driveway and have left this key in a spot directly under the roof. Could it have been the Easter bunny or a crow??? I really am mystified.
