Just to get this out of the way: I was wearing a mask, and the trail was
not designated CLOSED the way I entered it (walking in from Lk. Washington
Blvd.) Also, I stepped away from the runners.
I'm writing to ask about eagles. I saw four in the tree overlooking Lake
Washington at the end of the Foster Island trail early this morning. I've
regularly seen two there, both mature bald eagles, but these four did not
have white heads. I got a good look: They were definitely eagles, not
hawks. I assume they were not golden eagles--certainly not mature golden
eagles, which I'm pretty sure I would recognize So my question is, is it
normal for four juvenile bald eagles to hang out together? I've never seen
this before.
Thanks.
