Hi all - we chased the White-winged Dove today at Central Ferry with no
luck - on the way back home we detoured up the Tucannon River Rd and 10
miles up at the Lewis & Clark camp pullout we watched 130 Gray-crowned
Rosy Finches swirling and feeding in the weedy slopes between the basalt
rims with many House Finches and Lesser Goldfinches. It was cool and
breezy - these birds were constantly on the move feeding then flushing
and flying around but always coming back to the same area. We saw them
on the way up the river and again 2 hours later on the way back down.

We have never seen Rosy-Finches and Lesser GF in the same view - amazing
to watch.

Back at home the FOY Vaux's Swifts showed up this evening -
