Hi Tweeters,

Nothing rare to report but just a fun day of birding within a mile of my
yard in Battle Ground, Clark County. Highlight for me was standing in one
place and counting 174 Yellow-rumped Warblers in 20 minutes falling out of
the clouds and continuing south right in front of me. Most if not all
were Audubon's type but there were probably a few Myrtle thrown in for good
measure. Probably had at least 350 for the day. At least 18
Orange-crowned Warblers in the general area and Common Yellowthroats have
gone from none to many. Also, sparrow activity surged this morning with
noticeable increases in both Savannah and Lincoln's Sparrows. Reports
from other Clark County birders echoed what I witnessed. Gotta love
migration!

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.
