Hi All,
Thanks for the many responses i got about the hawk I saw being chased by the Crow. Most suggested a Coopers Hawk.
My guide books show a Coopers Hawk with multiple dark bands across the tail.
The one I saw had only one band across the tail very near the tips.
Could I have seen a Rough-legged Hawk? It is the only one I saw in my books that has a single band at the tips.
More hanging out in that area this week hoping for another view of it.
