I've been lamenting being stuck at my computer most of the day while
birders are in their backyards turning up incredible raptors. (although no
complaints about still getting a paycheck) I took my daughters out to ride
their bikes a bit ago kept my eyes with one eye looking at the sky. A
couple minutes ago a kettle of 4 buteos appeared circling high above. At
least 3 were Swainson's hawks. I was able to run inside and grab my camera
so hopefully I can get an ID on the fourth. They circled high for about 3
minutes and headed east towards Lord Hill.
