With the several reports of migrating Swainson's Hawks over Seattle and
Snohomish County, I have kept my eyes pealed to the heavens just hoping I
might see one, too. So, when a few minutes ago I spotted a dark object
soaring northward high in the clouds over Lake Stevens, I quickly rushed
inside, grabbed my binoculars and managed to get great views of a balloon
drifting on the currents. Cannot even put it down as hawk sp., although it
was my first balloon of the year.
