Does anyone know if Northern Bobwhite sightings in King County should be reported to a governing bird/science organization tracking their range? We had a male and female pair on our property, but they were tragically killed by something overnight. Our security cameras picked up a bear and the coyotes were yipping like crazy last night, but we also have bobcats, feral cats and assorted other predators who may have taken the birds out. This is the first time we had ever seen the birds in our area and want to report them to an appropriate party if it's beneficial to documenting the birds' range.
Really sad to find the feathered remains this morning. They had such great personalities and that bob-WHITE! call made us smile every time.
