Looking out my front door in Ballard, I had a male Wilson's Warbler (or
possibly two), a female Orange-Crowned Warbler and a seemingly all-grey
warbler, all within about five minutes.
The third bird was probably a drab female Yellow Warbler, or at least
that's the closest I can find in Sibley. I could not see any yellow, but
the bird was not very obliging. The only thing I don't like about that ID
is that I had one brief, unobstructed profile view, and I thought I noted
the wing to be pretty featureless, so lacking the "pale tertial edges"
shown by Sibley. Maybe I just missed that. Any alternate ID suggestions
for a similar bird?
