Wednesday I ran into Andrew with P.A.W.S. who had a squadron of maybe ready to fly young Vaux's Swifts at Monroe Wagner. Unfortunately the most birds we had documented using Wagner in the last ten days was 2. I told him about Selleck, a long ways from Lynnwood, but the closest roost we knew had summer swifts.

Last night Dave Swayne reported 400 Vaux's roosting at Selleck. He also mentioned some rehabber releasing a half dozen
more swifts into the flock.

Well done P.A.W.S. Above any beyond.

Standing ovation.
