Several years ago I (north of Arlington) routinely had 20+ Siskins at
my feeders; then, they all disappeared. In the last couple of years,
including this year up to the end of July, I usually had between two and
four mixed in with the goldfinches.  A week or so ago, however, a larger
flock of up to 20 (though usually about 12) appeared. Neighbor about 1
1/4 miles away also suddenly got a flock.  They're back this year, I
guess (though the Cooper/Sharpie is picking some of them off).
