Tweeters -

About 35 years ago, there was a Vaux's Swift roost in a large tree along the lower part of the Hoh River. This location was known to many, as the spectacle of arriving and departing swifts attracted a lot of attention. I am unaware of written records of this roost (I asked Larry Schwitters if he knew about it) and the Park Service does not seem to have record of the site. I am seeking documentation of the roost so we can at least capture some of the details of this rather unique resource. If you have information please let me know (offline is fine).

Thanks.
