Sorry for the delayed posting. I was able to scope the two light morph
Parasitic Jaeger at Alki yesterday (8/20) around 10:30am As with previous
reports, I first found them sitting on the water near a line of kelp/debris
midchannel between Alki Pt. and Restoration Pt. (Bainbridge). They had
the right profile but were far out, so I kept watching. Soon they took
after a DCCO and I got good looks. They returned to the water and then
took aim at a passing Caspian Tern. Very action packed. I took eyes off
them and didn't see where they ended up and I needed to get back to
work...until next time.
