Photographed what had been a very exceptionally beautiful male House
Finch that was a regular customer on our bird feeders. Now this is the
MOST bedraggled looking specimen of bird that we have seen! Really
shaggy indeed. In the photo you can see quill stubs all over his head
and body. I posted the picture (birdsbydave.com). Due to software
constraints, there are only eight "categories, so, unfortunately you
will find this disheveled fellow under Sparrows.
