Near about 50 Black Turnstones I found a Ruddy Turnstone a bit off by itself probing the shoreline and acting like a turnstone. At first, I thought a nonbreeding plumage but now considering it a juvenile.

As with other Black Turnstones I've encountered over the years it did not seem to mind my presence. I sat about 30 feet from where it was in the direction it was going. It proceeded to walk along the shore within a few feet of me continuing down the beach.

Also, of note were about 20 Red-Necked Phalarope seen quite a way offshore on and near floating mats of seaweed. I only saw 4 at the time but another reported the 20 number. I did not have my scope at the time.
