This afternoon (Monday) we lost the lens hood for an Olympus lens when crawling under the fence to get down to the east side of the County Line pond on the north side of hwy 26. There is one gap below the lowest wire adjacent to a post where it's relatively easy to crawl through, and that's where I think it must have been dislodged from the lens.

A half-dozen Baird's Sandpipers, 20 Least Sandpipers, 2 Western Sandpipers, 3 Red-necked Phalaropes and 3 Lesser Yellowlegs tempted us to go through the fence. If they tempt anyone else, and you find the lens hood, please let me know.
