The Bar-tailed Godwit continued on Sunday at Nahcotta on the Long Beach
Peninsula but was observed north of the WDFW Interpretive site where it had
been reported earlier. It was observed on the exposed mudflat north of the
Port of Peninsula boat ramp on the north side of the marina. This is about
a quarter mile north of the WDFW site. The bird was still with the large
flock (several hundred) of Marbled Godwits as the tide was receding an hour
before dusk. The godwits seemed to have been in several feeding groups and
gathered together late in the day, fortunately with the Bar-tailed.
