Seems like a good location for one. Not all that uncommon but not always easy to find

I'm a new birder to the area, so I'm not sure how rare these are, but since eBird flagged it as "rare" I thought I would let you all know. Yesterday I got great looks at an American Dipper at Japanese Gulch in Mukilteo. It was playing/foraging in a rushing section of stream about a half of a mile up the service road that parallels the railroad tracks. It was seen two days in a row right where the first main bridge is.
