Nice day for a walk at Deer Lagoon. All the usuals were around, including
the resident short-eared owl. But then it was being strafed by a 2nd one.
Lots of areal interaction between them as a northern harrier sat bored on
an adjacent fence post. We've never seen a pair of short-ears at deer
lagoon.
