Subject: [Tweeters] Swan at Sikes Lake

I was out on my swan survey for the less fortunate swans yesterday. I found
one at Sikes Lake next to Carnation Farms. If anyone is out that way today
or the next few days I will appreciate your taking a look to see if it is
there, alive or otherwise, even a feather pile after predators got it.
Location: on the field side of the lake, It was about 3 feet up from
the lake, sitting on the shoreline in the dead grass area. This is nearly
directly across from the road point where the guard rail begins just north
of the gated road that goes down to the far buildings. You can pull out
here as the shoulder is wider here.
Please let me know. I am not able to get out to check this daily. I
will go out if the bird is deceased.
Thank you.
Martha
