Tweeters,
I hadn't seen this posted on Tweeters, so I thought I'd forward this on. I know many of you know Bob.

Thanks,
Denis

Subject: Inviting You to Share A Tribute to Bob Sundstrom

Dear Friends,
I'm writing to you because you know Bob Sundstrom, BirdNote's lead writer. Along with writing more than 770 shows produced over 15 years, Bob served as a BirdNote science advisor and expert trip leader and bird guide. He also led bird trips around the world for 31 years with Victor Emanuel Nature Tours, or VENT.

Bob is at home in the care of hospice. We want to pay tribute to Bob for the many ways he has inspired us to care deeply about birds, to take delight in their sounds, and to become good stewards of the environment we share with them.

The BirdNote team is working on a web page where we'll feature some of Bob's most popular BirdNote stories and where we'll honor his legacy for all who have been fortunate to know and be influenced by him.

We invite you to add your tribute to Bob by emailing a brief heartfelt note with your memory or your favorite BirdNote show that he wrote (you can search with his name at birdnote.org). Please send your note to:

shellye at birdnote.org<mailto:shellye at birdnote.org>

This is a timely request. We'd like to post as many tributes as possible by the end of this week.
Please forward this email to anyone you think may also want to contribute.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Sallie Bodie
BirdNote Executive Director
