I have seen them out in the bay at Hayton with a few in the west field with swans, but they do seem to be scarce on Fir Island fields. I have seen a big flock at Boe Road in the Stillaguamish valley.

I have missed seeing Snow Geese on my trips to Skagit this winter, except as fly overs. I have heard that they are spending the days out in the water, perhaps to avoid pressure from hunters. Have others had the same experience?
