Happy New Year, Tweets!

Just a quick report that I was surprised and delighted to find a new bird species at Lowman Beach: a flock of 30-50+ Cedar Waxwings. They shared one of the large sycamores (?) with robins and starlings, often perching calmly just a few inches apart. Hopefully they'll still be hanging out there tomorrow so I can try again for photos with a bigger lens.

My FBOY was one of our resident Steller's Jays, a great start to the birding year with all of their quirky ways.

Happy Birdy Year!
Trileigh
