So thrilled to hear your husband witnessed torpor. Do you have any nests
this year? Wish I could find some in my area.

On sub-freezing nights I use duct tape and tape hand warmers to the feeders
late at night, and it keeps them from freezing. So far it has worked
beautifully. Haven't had to do it yet this year, but maybe tonight I will.
