Hi, Tweets,

I'm just reporting the continuing presence of a Northern Shrike at Larsen Lake in Bellevue's Lake Hills green belt. I got to meet the resident birders, too.

Yesterday at Montlake Fill, at least four Trumpeter Swans continued. I had a Hermit Thrush in shrubs where I'm used to watching sparrows in the lawns southwest of the Urban Horticulture buildings. There were five Killdeer on the temporary mud island, but no other shorebirds. Massive coot numbers are back, though eagle-wary, and there are still a lot of Canvasbacks in the lake.
