Hi Tweeters,

The Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) Eagles Pride Golf Course birdwalk is scheduled for this coming Thursday, July 17. The JBLM Eagles Pride GC birders meet the third Thursday of each month at 8:00AM. Starting point is Bldg # 1514, Driving Range Tee, Eagles Pride Golf Course, I-5 Exit 116, Mounts Road Exit.

We must follow the prescribed rules:

1. Maintain social distancing throughout the walk.
2. Do not share birding or other gear, including scopes, binoculars, etc.

The use of cloth masks is highly encouraged, and all but a very few have been masked-up for the entire previous two walks with no undue effects.

Unfortunately, I won't be along for this walk (recovering from last week's surgery). Also, due to JBLM Morale, Welfare, and Recreation action, our fearless sponsor, Dave, will no longer be with us. I'm hoping that one of the "regulars" will take up the slack this month to tally the birds and send the list to me so I can input it into eBird.
